ARTIST and PHOTOGRAPHER: Robert Heading.
RESIDES: Mount Gambier South Australia.
MOSAICS: I have been making mosics since 1999
My source of materials is softdrink and beer cans.
I use the vast array of colors,cut the cans into minute
tiles (10 per squ inch approx) and glue them individually
to plywood on which I have drawn the image I wish to
create. Each work consists of roughly 8-10 thousand tiles.
Three months can be spent on each mosaic.
PHOTOGRAPHY: Taken up as a serious hobby not long
after moving to Mt. Gambier and purchasing a digital
camera. The district abounds in nature and walking
the pine forests and conservat
